Bike Desk is a small space for cycling stories, useful gear and ideas that deserve a moment of your attention.

A brief is enough.

Each item starts with a short hook and a sentence or two of original commentary. Open it for a little more context, then follow the source if you want the full story. There are no long articles hiding behind the feed.

Credit is part of the story.

Every brief includes a clearly labeled source. We write our own commentary; we don’t republish someone else’s reporting, copy passages, scrape paywalls, or present another outlet’s work as ours.

Independent, and transparent.

We separate editorial judgment from commercial links. Any affiliate link is labeled where it appears, and we explain the relationship in our affiliate disclosure.

Our first edition. These briefs add our perspective to official event reports and product announcements. Product coverage is based on manufacturer information unless we explicitly say we have tested it. Illustrations are original editorial artwork, not event photographs or product images.
